Various cranes designed & manufactured as per customer specifications. There are various type of cranes used in Industrial application. Some of them are defined as below:
The Crane moves on the gantry rails fixed on gantry girders. All cranes have three motions namely the Hoisting, Cross travelling and Long travelling.
|CRAB: An assembly unit incorporating one or more lifting unit that traverses on the bridge of the crane.||SAFE WORKING LOAD: Specified load which under is permitted to be safely handled by the Crane under specified conditions.|
|CROSS TRAVEL: Motion of crab (s) along the bridge.||CYCLE DURATION FACTOR: The ratio between the period of loading including starting and electric braking and the duration of the duty-cycle-expressed as percentage.|
|LONG TRAVEL: Motion of the whole crane along tracks on gantry girder.||HOISTING: The motion of lifting and lowering of the load in vertical direction. When auxiliary arrangement is required for lifting & lowering of the load in vertical direction then it is known as Auxiliary Hoisting. Generally the auxiliary arrangement is required in cranes of heavier capacity.|
|LIFT: Maximum vertical Distance which can be traveled by Hook of the Crane.|
